Walnut Brownie

No fuss & easy to make. Everyone loves it so much that I have to make it at least once a week :)

Ingredients (makes 6 to 8)
1 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
  [OR 2tsp cocoa & 1 1/2 tbsp dark chocolate]
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp soda bi-carb
1/2 tsp baking powder
6 tbsp curds (dahi)
5 tbsp milk
5 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Method
Pre-heat the oven to 180 c (350 f). Sieve together flour, Cocoa, soda & baking powder.
Melt dark chocolate & butter over double boiler.
Add sugar & mix well. Add curds & mix really well.
Mix walnuts with flour so it wont settle down after baking.
Mix milk & flour alternately but end with flour. Make sure there are no lumps.
Pour this mixture into a greased and dusted 8" x 8" baking tray.
Place in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool and cut into 2" x 2" pieces.
Enjoy With Vanilla ice cream or just like that :)
    Tips
*I would suggest using dark chocolate & cocoa powder together to give brownies a better texture.
*You can replace 1/2 tsp cocoa powder with 1/2 tsp coffee powder.
*This Brownie is not very sweet, if u want it sweeter then add extra 2 tbsp of sugar
